Effective October 30, 2026 · Last updated October 30, 2026

The short version

We collect only what you give us when you book a call or hire us, and we use it to talk to you and do the work. We don't sell your information, we don't use advertising or tracking cookies on this website, and you can ask to see, fix, or delete your information at any time by emailing book@newlifemedia.ca.

1. Who we are

New Life Media ("New Life Media", "we", "us", "our") is a marketing business based in Ontario, Canada, run as a sole proprietorship. We provide website design, content creation, photo and video, social media management, influencer marketing, and website hosting services. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through newlifemedia.ca (the "Site") and in the course of providing our services.

We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and its fair information principles, and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you book or request a strategy call, we collect:

If you become a client, we may also collect billing details (such as your business address and invoicing contact), the content and materials you send us (logos, photos, text, product information), and the access details you choose to share for your website, domain, Google Business Profile, or social media accounts.

Information collected automatically

Like every website, our hosting provider receives basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is used to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and prevent abuse. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies on the Site.

Photos and video

During a photo or video shoot at a client's business, we may capture images of the business, its staff, and customers. Our clients are responsible for having permission from people who appear in content made for them, and we'll work with you to avoid filming anyone who doesn't want to be filmed.

3. How we use your information

We only use your information for these purposes, or for a new purpose we tell you about and get your consent for first.

4. Consent and email

By submitting the booking form, you consent to us using your details to arrange your call and reply to you. We will only email you about your enquiry, your booking, or the work you've hired us for. We will not add you to a newsletter or send you marketing emails unless you clearly opt in, and every marketing email we send will include a working unsubscribe link, as required by CASL. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us, subject to legal or contractual limits.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Site and our business, and only as much as they need:

ProviderWhat it does for usWhat it receives
Cloudflare, Inc.Hosts the Site and runs our booking systemTechnical visit data; booking date, time, and form details
Web3FormsDelivers booking form submissions to our inboxThe details you enter in the booking form
Google (Google Fonts)Supplies the fonts used on the SiteYour IP address and browser details when the fonts load

When you hire us, we may also share your content with platforms you ask us to use on your behalf (for example, Google Business Profile, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or YouTube), and, for influencer campaigns, with the creators we brief about your business. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

6. Where your information is stored

Some of our service providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. When that happens, your information is subject to the laws of those countries and may be accessed by their courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities. We choose providers that protect information to a standard comparable to Canadian law.

7. How long we keep it

If you book a call but don't become a client, we keep your details for up to 12 months and then delete them. If you become a client, we keep project and billing records for as long as we work together and then for up to 7 years, which is how long the Canada Revenue Agency requires business records to be kept. Account access details are deleted or handed back when our work together ends.

8. How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards for the sensitivity of the information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, password-protected accounts with two-factor authentication where available, and limiting access to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as PIPEDA requires.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to:

Email book@newlifemedia.ca and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. There is no charge.

10. Cookies

The Site does not set advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the Site from bots and attacks. If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy first.

11. Children

The Site and our services are meant for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Links to other sites

The Site may link to other websites and social media platforms. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we'll post a notice on the Site.

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
